Eco Wave Power reports April and May 2026 output from Jaffa Port
Eco Wave Power Global AB (NASDAQ: WAVE) reported electricity production results for April and May 2026 from its grid-connected EWP-EDF One wave energy station at Jaffa Port, Israel, according to a company statement.
During April, the station recorded three days with wave heights between approximately 1 and 1.5 meters, generating around 461 kWh of electricity with a peak power output of 26.2 kW. In May, four days with wave heights between approximately 1 and 2 meters produced around 1,004 kWh, with peak power reaching 39.1 kW and an average output of approximately 10.45 kW during those periods.
The company also cited February 2026 data, when wave heights reached approximately 3 meters and the station recorded an average output of around 20 kW and a peak of approximately 54 kW.
Most of the electricity generated is exported to Israel's national grid under a Power Purchase Agreement with the Israel Electric Corporation, with a portion used for on-site consumption.
The company stated the Jaffa Port station has experienced zero downtime attributable to its system since the start of 2025.
The Jaffa Port installation is described as a pilot-scale demonstration project using a limited number of small floaters. The company said future commercial projects are expected to use larger floaters and more units.
Eco Wave Power said it is working to integrate artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, and digital twin technologies into its platform. Founder and CEO Inna Braverman said, "Every month of operation gives us additional real-world information that can be incorporated into our AI models, digital twins and predictive maintenance systems as we optimize the technology for larger commercial installations."
