Rhelion Life Sciences Corp. (CSE: RHEL, FSE: 4YX, OTCQB: TRUFF) announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Filament Health Corp., has entered into a license agreement with University Health Network (UHN) in Toronto to supply its psilocybin drug candidate PEX010 for a randomized clinical trial focused on depression in Parkinson's disease patients.

The trial, called PSI-PARK, is sponsored by UHN and will be led by principal investigator Dr. Joshua Rosenblat. Filament is supplying PEX010 as the investigational drug product but is not the trial sponsor and bears no responsibility for its conduct.

PSI-PARK evaluates psilocybin as a treatment for depression in people living with Parkinson's disease, a condition the press release describes as responding poorly to existing antidepressants. People with neurodegenerative diseases have historically been excluded from psychedelic research on safety grounds.

An open-label pilot study published in Neuropsychopharmacology in April 2025 reported no serious adverse events and sustained improvements in depression and anxiety measures in patients with mild to moderate Parkinson's disease and mood dysfunction, which the press release described as the first clinical data on psilocybin in any neurodegenerative disease.

PEX010 is a patented, standardized, botanically derived psilocybin drug candidate available in doses of 0.5, 1, 5, and 25 mg. Rhelion completed its acquisition of Filament Health Corp. on April 30, 2026, which included a portfolio of 76 issued patents across 15 patent families.
