Evolv Technology adds 70 customers in Q2, expands bag screening
Evolv Technology (NASDAQ: EVLV) added 70 new customers in the second quarter of 2026, the company's strongest quarter for new customer additions in two years, according to a press release.
New customers include the new Ryan Field at Northwestern University, pro soccer team Philadelphia Union, and the University of Washington. Approximately 60% of unit bookings during the quarter came from existing customers.
Evolv now serves customers in all 50 U.S. states, as well as Canada and Mexico. Its Evolv Express people-screening system currently screens nearly 5 million people per day, approaching a cumulative total of 5 billion people screened since 2019.
The company's bag-screening product, Evolv eXpedite, has surpassed 20 million bags screened since launching at the end of 2024, with approximately 90,000 bags processed per day. Evolv eXpedite now has more than 100 customers, representing roughly 8% of the total customer base, up from approximately 2% one year ago.
During Q2 2026, approximately 70% of new customers who purchased eXpedite also purchased Evolv Express. More than 40 existing Evolv Express customers have added eXpedite to their operations.
"Our results reflect the power of an integrated strategy," said John Kedzierski, President and Chief Executive Officer of Evolv Technology. "Whether customers begin with people screening, bag screening, or both, we're increasingly becoming a trusted long-term partner in helping them create safer experiences at scale."
Evolv serves customers across education, healthcare, venues, entertainment, and enterprise environments.
