Mobix Labs, Inc. (Nasdaq: MOBX) has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Special Project Delivery, a move that would expand the company into rare earth elements, critical minerals, energy, and U.S. strategic infrastructure, according to a press release.

The Irvine, California-based company said the acquisition is intended to extend its operations beyond its current defense technology and drone businesses into sectors that support domestic defense and advanced-technology supply chains.

No financial terms of the deal were disclosed in the announcement.
