Blue Moon Metals acquires 33 tungsten and antimony projects in the West
Blue Moon Metals Inc. (NASDAQ: BMM) has agreed to acquire a portfolio of 33 tungsten and antimony projects in the western United States from a private seller, according to a company statement.
The transaction is valued at approximately $20.5 million in upfront consideration, consisting of 2.8 million common shares priced at $5.55 per share (roughly $15.5 million total), subject to a four-month holding period, plus $5.0 million in cash — $2.5 million due at closing and $2.5 million on the first anniversary. The seller also receives a 1.0% net smelter return royalty on each project, along with contingent development milestone payments capped at $8.5 million per project and a 10% monetization incentive on any future project disposals. Annual holding costs for the portfolio are approximately $162,000.
The projects are located near Blue Moon's existing Springer tungsten complex in Nevada and are described in the release as situated in historically productive tungsten and antimony districts. Blue Moon considers four of the projects — Oregon Mine in Colorado, Wildhorse Canyon in Idaho, Williams in Arizona, and Hub Mines in Nevada — to be high priority for potential direct shipping of high-grade tungsten ore to its Springer facility.
All historical production figures cited in the release have not been verified by a qualified person and should not be relied upon.
The company also noted at least five projects with historical high-grade antimony mineralization, ranging from 2% to 10% antimony, and said it is considering either selling ore to third parties or constructing a small-scale antimony smelter at its Springer site.
A binding letter of intent was signed Aug. 10, 2026. The transaction requires TSX Venture Exchange approval and is expected to close in October 2026. No finder's fees are being paid.
Blue Moon said it anticipates hiring a team to advance the key projects toward drilling within two years.
