Blue Moon releases infill drilling results from Norway copper project

August 10, 2026 6:45 AM

Blue Moon Metals Inc. (NASDAQ: BMM) released initial assay results from its ongoing surface infill drilling program at the Nussir copper project in Finnmark, Norway, according to a company press release dated Aug. 10, 2026.

The program, which began in March 2026, comprises 12 diamond drill holes totaling 2,628.6 meters, testing a strike length of over 700 meters of the current Indicated Resource nearest planned production areas. The holes returned copper grades ranging from 0.32% to 2.68% Cu, with copper equivalent grades of up to 3.14% CuEq. One hole, NUS-DD-26-12, returned no intervals above the cut-off grade of 0.30% Cu. Hole NUS-DD-26-08 also intersected 0.6 meters at 0.69 g/t platinum and 0.42 g/t palladium.

The company said the infill drilling aims to upgrade portions of the Indicated Resource to the Measured category and that findings near a previously identified fault zone indicate additional tonnages, which will prompt an update to the Mineral Resource Estimate and an optimized mine design.

Blue Moon also reported a new result from its deep exploration program targeting mineralization at approximately 1.2 kilometers depth. Hole NUS-DD-26-07 intersected 3.7 meters at 1.39% Cu, 0.05 g/t Au, and 16.8 g/t Ag (1.56% CuEq) at 917.4 meters depth, adding to two intercepts previously announced in April 2026.

Separately, the company disclosed it extended its marketing services agreement with Outside The Box Capital Inc. through Nov. 8, 2026, for a payment of US$175,000, and entered a new three-month investor relations agreement with Winning Media LLC for US$100,000. No securities will be issued under either arrangement.
