Clarivate Plc (NYSE: CLVT) announced the expansion of agentic AI capabilities across its Cortellis portfolio of life sciences tools, according to a company press release dated Aug. 6, 2026.

The updates span three areas of the Cortellis product suite. Within Cortellis Drug Discovery Intelligence, new features allow researchers to query drug intelligence using natural language, compare compounds and evaluate therapeutic areas. The company says the tools are intended to reduce time spent on manual data gathering.

The OFF-X safety assessment tool has been updated with multi-agent AI functionality designed to help safety teams identify potential drug liabilities earlier and synthesize evidence across development and post-market activities.

Cortellis Competitive Intelligence has received new agentic workflows aimed at helping strategy and business development teams monitor markets and assess competitive dynamics. The company claims these workflows can reduce analysis time from weeks to hours.
