Amdocs (NASDAQ: DOX) announced that A1 Austria has completed the deployment of Amdocs Charging, Billing, and Catalog systems following a multi-year modernization of its monetization platform, according to a company press release.

Amdocs Charging and Amdocs Catalog were deployed on Microsoft Azure, alongside Amdocs Billing, as part of A1 Austria's cloudification program. The updated platform is intended to deliver higher performance and lower operating costs while simplifying A1 Austria's technology environment.

The transformation also supported the migration of Bob, a mobile virtual network operator established by A1 Austria, onto the A1 main brand. The company stated that service continuity was maintained throughout the transition.

"Modernizing our billing and charging environment is an important step in simplifying our operations and creating a more efficient technology foundation," said Boris Gotovac, IT Director at A1 Austria. "By deploying Amdocs Charging, we are significantly improving system performance while reducing operational costs."

A1 Austria said it expects to benefit from agentic capabilities within Amdocs Charging, which are designed to automate operational processes and simplify business authoring.

Amdocs reported revenue of $4.53 billion in fiscal year 2025 and is listed on the Nasdaq Global Select Market.
