SNDL completes EU-GMP audit at New Brunswick cannabis facility
SNDL Inc. (NASDAQ: SNDL) announced the completion of a European Union Good Manufacturing Practice (EU-GMP) audit at its Atholville, New Brunswick cannabis cultivation facility, according to a press release issued Aug. 4, 2026.
The company said it anticipates receiving formal EU-GMP certification for the Atholville facility within 90 days of the audit's completion. EU-GMP certification is a standard required for supplying medical cannabis products to many international markets.
The Atholville facility spans approximately 380,000 square feet, with more than 110,000 square feet of cultivation canopy. The facility has a current production capacity of approximately 4,500 kilograms per quarter, with the potential to exceed 30 tonnes annually with additional investment.
"This achievement is another example of SNDL's commitment to disciplined execution," said Zach George, Chief Executive Officer of SNDL. "The successful completion of this audit strengthens Atholville's position as a strategically important asset and supports our ability to pursue international medical cannabis opportunities."
The audit follows investments in cultivation performance, facility reliability, quality systems, and process improvement at the Atholville site.
