Netskope (NASDAQ: NTSK) announced the Netskope One DataSec Command Center on Aug. 4, 2026, a unified control plane designed to discover, track, and protect sensitive data across cloud, AI, network, on-premises, endpoint, and email environments.

The product is set for general availability in the current quarter as part of the Netskope One platform. According to the company, the tool ingests signals from across Netskope services and correlates relationships between users, devices, data stores, and AI assets to surface risks and support remediation.

The announcement cited data from the 2026 Netskope Data Security Report, based on a survey of 1,064 cybersecurity practitioners conducted by Cybersecurity Insiders. The report found that 58% of organizations run 11 or more data security tools, while only 7% describe their stack as fully unified. When an incident occurs, 68% of security teams require days or longer to reconstruct where sensitive data traveled. The report also found that only 8% of organizations enforce data security consistently in AI environments, and 56% investigate half or fewer of the alerts they generate due to capacity constraints.

The platform includes a data lineage feature that tracks file movement from creation, an adaptive security component that translates risk signals into policy recommendations, and an agentic operations capability that works alongside the Netskope DLP AISecOps Agent to detect and resolve incidents.

Sanjay Beri, co-founder and CEO of Netskope, said in a statement: "The problem isn't a lack of tools — it's the massive volume of data, the signals it generates, and the lack of coordination between them."

The platform covers data in cloud service environments including AWS, GCP, and Azure, SaaS platforms such as Microsoft OneDrive and Google Drive, AI services including ChatGPT and Anthropic Claude, and structured data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake.

Netskope plans to demonstrate the product at Black Hat USA in Las Vegas.
