Socket Mobile, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCKT) has appointed David A. Holmes, the company's President and Chief Executive Officer, to its Board of Directors, effective August 3, 2026, according to a press release statement.

Holmes was named President and CEO in June 2026. His board appointment adds an executive seat to the Fremont, California-based company's governance structure.

Charlie Bass, Chairman of the Board, commented on the appointment: "Since becoming CEO, Dave has demonstrated strong leadership and a clear focus on executing the Company's strategic objectives. We look forward to his continued contributions in his expanded role."

Holmes said he looks forward to "working closely with my fellow directors as we continue executing our strategy, serving our customers, and creating long-term value for our stockholders."
