Tenable Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: TENB) announced expanded AI security capabilities within its Tenable One Exposure Management Platform, adding support for Google Gemini and extending coverage to Model Context Protocol (MCP) deployments and AI-native integrated development environment tools.

The update to Tenable One AI Exposure now covers four major large language models: Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, OpenAI ChatGPT Enterprise and Microsoft Copilot. The platform also adds support for AI-native IDE tools including Cursor, Windsurf and Trae, as well as AI-enabled browser extensions.

According to the company, Tenable detected 457 million AI-related security issues across more than 7,000 organizations over a 30-day period, averaging approximately 62,000 exposures per organization.

The updated platform includes monitoring of user interactions and prompt responses for Google Gemini, policy enforcement, and detection of malicious activity. Organizations can also create remediation tickets directly in Jira and ServiceNow, and send automated notifications via email, Slack or Teams.

"The massive volume of AI exposures confirms the operational reality that authorized and unauthorized AI is deployed faster than security teams can govern it," said Eric Doerr, Chief Product Officer at Tenable.

Tenable One combines two capabilities: AI Exposure, which helps organizations discover and assess AI use across their environments, and Tenable Hexa AI, an agentic engine that automates security tasks and remediation workflows.

The announcement was made at Black Hat USA, held August 4–7, 2026, in Las Vegas, where Tenable is exhibiting at booth #2639.
