PowerBank Corporation (Nasdaq: PBK) announced it will support TriMac Engineering of Sydney, Nova Scotia, in providing solar consulting services for the Municipality of the County of Victoria in Nova Scotia, according to a press release dated July 30, 2026.

The contract was executed between TriMac and the municipality on July 8, 2026. PowerBank will participate through a fee-for-service agreement with TriMac.

The engagement stems from a request for proposals issued by Victoria County on June 20, 2026, seeking consulting services to develop a solar feasibility and implementation roadmap. The municipality cited "increasing energy reliability concerns, rising utility costs, and climate-related disruptions" as reasons for advancing the work.

The scope of work includes evaluating municipal buildings and properties across Victoria County to identify solar opportunities, covering both rooftop and ground-mounted installations. Potential system sizes will be determined based on factors including available roof or land area, electricity consumption, structural constraints, interconnection capacity, and project economics. The assessment may also evaluate available federal, provincial, or utility funding and incentive programs.

PowerBank and TriMac have an existing partnership through the development of three Community Solar Projects in Nova Scotia under the Provincial Community Solar program, which are expected to have a combined capacity of 12.4 MW.
