July 29, 2026 8:01 AM

Fuel Tech, Inc. (NASDAQ: FTEK) announced two air pollution control contracts totaling approximately $2.6 million with domestic industrial customers, according to a company press release.

The first contract, from a new domestic industrial customer, covers the supply of Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems with UDI Urea Direct Injection reagent delivery systems for two new natural gas fired turbines. The systems are designed to reduce nitrogen oxide, carbon monoxide, and volatile organic compounds. Engineering work is set to begin immediately, with equipment delivery scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2027.

The second contract is a change order from a repeat domestic customer to modify the scope and accelerate delivery of an existing SCR project. Delivery is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2026.

Vincent J. Arnone, President and CEO, said the awards bring the company's total announced bookings year to date to $12.6 million. "We are continuing to actively pursue additional APC contracts that are likely to be awarded by the end of the third quarter of 2026," Arnone said.

Fuel Tech is based in Warrenville, Ill., and provides emissions control systems and water treatment technologies for utility and industrial applications.
