flyExclusive, Inc. (NYSE American: FLYX) has secured a $30 million grant from the State of North Carolina to expand its maintenance and repair operations and build a new pilot training facility at the North Carolina Global TransPark in Kinston, according to a press release from the company.

The funding was authorized under Senate Bill 257 (Session Law 2026-41), signed into law on July 7, 2026. The North Carolina Global TransPark Authority will retain ownership of the facility, which flyExclusive will operate under a long-term lease. The company will also contribute private investment alongside the state grant.

The investment is expected to create more than 100 aviation jobs in Lenoir County. The company said the new facility would allow it to bring back more than $5 million per year in pilot training costs currently paid to out-of-state providers, along with more than 8,000 hotel room nights per year tied to pilot training. Each flight simulator housed in the facility is valued at approximately $12 million for property tax purposes.

The expanded maintenance facility will include paint, avionics, and refurbishment capabilities. flyExclusive currently spends more than $75 million annually on maintenance, the bulk of which is paid to out-of-state providers.

Jim Segrave, founder and chief executive officer of flyExclusive, said the facility "lets us develop the next generation of world-class pilots and create hundreds of high-quality aviation careers" in North Carolina.

The company said it intends to break ground as soon as possible. flyExclusive also recently opened a corporate office in Raleigh, North Carolina.
