BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) (NYSE: BDX) and Brazilian pharmaceutical company EMS announced a collaboration to launch a semaglutide therapy in Brazil, according to a press release dated July 29, 2026.

The semaglutide product uses BD's Vystra™ Injection Pen platform, a reusable injection pen designed for self-administration. The therapy targets patients with obesity and type 2 diabetes.

"By combining this therapy with BD's established pen platform, patients benefit from a proven, research backed design that supports usability for self-injection."
