EagleNXT (NYSE: UAVS), operating as a joint venture called ThirdEye USA, has been selected to participate in the Experimentation: Transforming in Contact (EXTiC) 26-2 event, a U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) technology experimentation initiative scheduled for July 27-29, 2026.

ThirdEye USA is a joint venture between EagleNXT, based in Allen, Texas, and Israel-based Third Eye Systems. The venture will demonstrate its MeduzaX system, an AI-powered counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) that uses passive electro-optical technology to detect, track, and classify drones.

CENTCOM organized EXTiC 26-2 in collaboration with the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) to test and validate emerging technologies under simulated adversarial conditions, including jamming, drone swarms, and GPS denial scenarios. The program includes the potential for contract awards without further competition following successful validation.

According to the company, the MeduzaX system is manufactured at EagleNXT's Allen, Texas headquarters. The company claims the system weighs less than a standard deployment kit, can be set up in under ten minutes, covers 360 degrees, produces no radiation or emissions, operates on a 24-hour battery, and carries a claimed 97% positive detection rate.

"Our selection for EXTiC 26-2 is an exciting opportunity to showcase the high technology-readiness level of our high performing MeduzaX counter-UAS sensor," said Bill Irby, CEO of EagleNXT.
