Trust Stamp delivers custom LLM for telecom, plans shareholder call
Trust Stamp (Nasdaq: IDAI), an AI-powered services company based in Atlanta, Georgia, announced it has delivered a compliance-related sovereign large language model (LLM) for an unnamed international telecommunications company, according to a statement from Chief Executive Officer Gareth N. Genner.
The model runs on the client's own servers with no external internet access and no reliance on third-party providers. The company said this structure addresses client concerns around data privacy, data poisoning, and legal exposure related to sharing commercial and personal data with third-party AI providers. Ongoing operational costs are limited to incremental power usage, the company said.
The deployment follows Trust Stamp's acquisition of Lexverify in February 2026, which the company said was part of a plan to develop LLM-based solutions alongside its existing identity authentication services.
Trust Stamp said it is targeting EU and African markets for future sovereign LLM deployments, citing demand for data and technology sovereignty. The company referenced a forecast suggesting annual expenditure for such deployments in those markets could reach between $15 billion and $30 billion by 2030, though it described the estimate as conservative.
Genner is scheduled to host a shareholder call on July 17, 2026, to provide additional details on the company's sovereign AI strategy. Access information is to be published at a later date.
