NYSE To Suspend Trading of CIT Group (CIT) Tomorrow

The NYSE determined that the common stock of CIT Group Inc. (NYSE: CIT) should be suspended prior to the market opening on Tuesday, November 3, 2009.
The decision follows the announcement that CIT's Board of Directors has voted to proceed with voluntary filings for CIT Group Inc. and CIT Group Funding Company of Delaware LLC with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
After the NYSE delisting, shares of CIT Will likely start trading on the OTC pink sheets.
Shares CIT are down 63% to $0.265 in early trading today.
