Universal Music Group repurchases shares under €250M buyback program
Universal Music Group N.V. (EURONEXT: UMG) repurchased 2,788,648 of its own shares between August 17 and August 21, 2026, at an average price of €15.01 per share, for a total consideration of €41,853,174.
The transactions are part of a €250 million share buyback program the company announced on August 6, 2026. Through August 21, UMG had repurchased a cumulative total of 15,586,984 shares under the program for a total consideration of €235,787,215.
The repurchases were disclosed in accordance with EU Market Abuse Regulation reporting obligations.
