Universal Music Group completes €500 million share buyback program
Universal Music Group N.V. (Euronext: UMG) has completed its €500 million share buyback program, the company announced in a press release dated July 27, 2026.
During the period from July 20 to July 24, 2026, UMG repurchased 634,455 of its own shares at an average price of €18.14 per share, for a total consideration of €11,510,143.
Through July 24, 2026, the company had repurchased a total of 26,707,529 shares under the program for a combined consideration of €499,186,910, effectively completing the buyback initiative that was announced on March 30, 2026.
