Ericsson repurchases 2.5 million shares in weekly buyback
Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson repurchased 2,504,354 Class B shares on Nasdaq Stockholm during the period July 6–10, 2026, at a weighted average price of SEK 107.41 per share, for a total transaction value of SEK 268,988,409.71, according to a company statement.
The repurchases are part of a broader share buyback program of up to SEK 15,000,000,000 that Ericsson announced on April 16, 2026. The program runs from April 23, 2026, through March 31, 2027, at the latest. Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE executed the transactions on behalf of Ericsson.
Following the latest repurchases, Ericsson holds 69,603,312 Class B shares in treasury. The company has a total of 3,371,351,735 shares outstanding, comprising 261,755,983 Class A shares and 3,109,595,752 Class B shares.
Ericsson's board of directors intends to propose at the 2027 Annual General Meeting that the repurchased shares, excluding those used to fulfill obligations under share-related incentive programs, be cancelled.
The buyback program is being executed in accordance with EU Market Abuse Regulation No. 596/2014 and the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/1052.
