Item 8.01 – Other Events

On July 16, 2026, the Board of Directors of Franklin Financial Services Corporation declared a $.34 per share regular cash dividend for the third quarter of 2026.  This compares to a $.34 per share regular cash dividend for the second quarter of 2026 and $.33 per share regular cash dividend for the third quarter of 2025, which represents an increase of 3.0% over the same quarter in 2025. The regular quarterly cash dividend will be paid August 26, 2026 to shareholders of record at the close of business on August 7, 2026.
