Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) is said to be mulling a public beta program for other platforms following the success of the imitative with OS X Yosemite.
According to 9to5mac, Apple may select iOS 9 for the next public beta program. Apple only let one million users sign up for the OS X Yosemite beta program and might do the same for iOS 9.
Apple is expected to unveil iOS 9 at its Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) this summer.
Shares of Apple are up modestly Friday afternoon.
