Visual Book Explores Stillness, Mindfulness And Spiritual Awareness

Ihrie Means' "We Come Here For The Flowers" presents a visual interpretation of teachings on presence, meditation and personal reflection

WOODBRIDGE, Conn., Oct. 26, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Nature can serve as a starting point for reflection on stillness, awareness and the present moment. In "We Come Here For The Flowers", author and artist Ihrie Means uses visual expression to explore spiritual teachings and invite readers to consider their relationship with themselves and the world around them.

Drawing on the teachings of spiritual author Eckhart Tolle, the book presents a visual approach to mindfulness, meditation and consciousness rather than relying primarily on written explanations. Means uses imagery to encourage readers to pause, reflect and engage with the ideas at their own pace.

"After the loss of my husband, I discovered a spiritual practice that opened the door to new ways of understanding life, stillness and healing. As an artist, I began exploring these concepts through my work, using painting as a way to reflect on the ideas that help us reconnect with ourselves and what truly deserves our attention," Means says.

The book explores themes of stillness, spiritual awareness and personal reflection, offering readers a way to consider these concepts through visual interpretation. Its approach may appeal to readers interested in spirituality, mindfulness and practices that encourage greater awareness of the present moment.

By combining visual art with spiritual themes, "We Come Here For The Flowers" can also serve as a starting point for conversations about purpose, inner awareness and the role of stillness in daily life.
