UFG Insurance Named A Top Workplace For 2018

For the fourth year in a row, United Fire Group, Inc. (UFG) has been named a Top Workplace in Iowa by the Des Moines Register. UFG ranked 12th in a group of 25 in the large company category. UFG was first named to the list in 2012, then again in 2015, 2016 and 2017.

Rankings for the 2018 list are based completely on employees' opinions from an anonymous survey performed by Energage (formerly WorkPlace Dynamics), a leading research firm that specializes in organizational health, employee engagement and workplace improvement. The survey asks employees to assess metrics such as organizational health, engagement and company leadership.
