Soundcore Capital Partners Announces Sale of InfraStripe

NEW YORK, April 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Soundcore Capital Partners ("Soundcore") a New York-based private equity firm, is pleased to announce it completed the sale of InfraStripe, a leading specialty contractor focused on roadway safety solutions, to Frontline Road Safety, the largest provider of pavement marking services in the U.S.,

Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, InfraStripe is a leading regional provider of roadway safety solutions. The company specializes in highway and runway striping, traffic control, signage, guardrail installation, and work zone service solutions. Customers include Departments of Transportation, municipalities, counties and airports. InfraStripe combines safety-first practices, operational excellence, and local expertise to deliver high-quality infrastructure services.

Soundcore initially invested in InfraStripe in October 2018. During its holding period, Soundcore oversaw 8 acquisitions, serving 29 states across 13 service centers. The majority of these acquisitions were founder-owned businesses. Soundcore recruited Billy Miller, who had previously worked with Soundcore Partner Jeff Long at Penhall, to lead the platform as CEO. Soundcore also hired a CFO and COO; along with full team covering serving all corporate functions Operations, Human Resources, Procurement, Integration, IT, and Environmental Health and Safety. Soundcore supported management's integration efforts, including installing a performance improvement management process and ERP and CPM systems.
