Shrieve Chemical Company Acquires Clear Solutions

THE WOODLANDS, Texas and SHREWSBURY, United Kingdom, Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Shrieve Chemical Company ("Shrieve"), a portfolio company of Gemspring Capital and a leading global distributor of specialized chemicals serving a broad range of end markets, announced today that it has acquired Clear Solutions International Ltd. ("Clear Solutions"), a developer and manufacturer of proprietary water-based drilling fluid systems headquartered in Wem, England. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 2003, Clear Solutions has built a strong reputation for technical innovation, product performance, and customer support. Its Pure-Bore^® family of environmentally compliant drilling fluids serves oil and gas, geothermal, tunneling, mining, geotechnical, well abandonment, and horizontal directional drilling (HDD) applications across the U.K., Europe, and North America.
