Selective Insurance Group Announces Officer Appointments

BRANCHVILLE, N.J., Aug. 22, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Selective Insurance Company of America, a subsidiary of Selective Insurance Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: SIGI), announces the following officer appointments.

Kevin Forrey to Vice President, IT Application Development. Mr. Forrey joined Selective in 2007 as a Technical Specialist, and was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Application Development Services in 2014. He earned an MBA in Management from Centenary College in New Jersey and a bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science from Cleveland State University in Ohio.

Glenn Jorgensen to Assistant Vice President, Compensation and Benefits. Mr. Jorgensen joined Selective in May 2017.  Prior to that, he served as Executive Director, Human Resources – Head of Benefits, Americas for Nomura Securities International.  Mr. Jorgensen holds an MBA in Finance/Strategic Management and a bachelor's degree in Economics/Finance from Rutgers University in New Jersey. 

Carlos Lewis to Assistant Vice President, Regional Claims Manager. Mr. Lewis joined Selective in June 2017. Prior to that, he served as Assistant Vice President for Safeco Insurance, responsible for a large Auto Physical Damage Center. Mr. Lewis attended the University of Kentucky and is a member of the National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA).

Mahfuj Munshi to Assistant Vice President, Analytics Strategy. Mr. Munshi joined Selective in May 2017. Prior to that, he served as Principal, Data Science for Infosys Consulting. Mr. Munshi earned a masters degree in Information Technology from Bond University in Gold Coast, Australia and a bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from Presidency College in Kolkata, India.
