Pacific Commerce Bank Reports Change in Management Assignments

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Pacific Commerce Bank (PFCI) reported today that Don Evans has joined the Bank as Senior Vice President and Manager of its newly formed Church Business Division.

Mr. Evans helped create Bank of the West’s Church Business Division in 1996. He left Bank of the West to join Southwest Community Bank in early 2006. When Southwest sold to Placer Sierra Bank and later to Wells Fargo Bank, Don continued to build a book of business until retiring from Wells Fargo in 2008. Prior to his banking career Mr. Evans served as Business Administrator for Harvest Christian Fellowship and Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa.

Evans has worked on projects with Billy Graham, launched a worldwide Christian radio station and helped Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa acquire KWVE Christian radio station. He was on the 9th round draft list for the Dallas Cowboys in 1969 and voted MVP in 1968 with the Long Beach State University football team. He is a graduate from Cal State Long Beach and is a longtime resident of Huntington Beach, California.
