PRD Energy Announces Management Changes

CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/15/15 -- PRD Energy Inc. ("PRD" or the "Company') (TSX VENTURE: PRD) announces that Mr. Edmund Watchuk, Vice President, Exploration of the Company, has chosen to retire from the Company effective June 30, 2015, and Mr. Mark Hornett has resigned from the Board of Directors of the Company effective June 16, 2015. The Company is pleased to announce that Mr. Volker Braun has been appointed Vice President, Geosciences of the Company effective June 30, 2015.

Mr. Braun has over 30 years of industry experience in various geoscience roles. Most recently, as Vice President Exploration at Pace Oil and Gas Ltd., which merged with two other companies to form Spyglass Resources Corp. He began his career with Shell Canada, before moving to Gulf Canada, Berkley Petroleum, Anadarko Canada, Pace Oil and Gas (and its predecessor Company), and joined PRD Energy in spring 2013. Mr. Braun has worked many facets, both stratigraphic and structural, of several North American Petroleum Basins including, but not limited to, the Western Canadian Basin, Williston Basin, Deep-water Scotian Shelf, East Texas Basin, and San Joaquin Basin. Mr. Braun obtained his Bachelor of Science in Geology (hon) from the University of Saskatchewan in 1982. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta, The Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists, and the Society of Exploration Geophysicists.
