New Fitch Tool Compares Post-Crisis U.S. RMBS Deals

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Fitch Ratings introduces its U.S. RMBS data comparison tool that encapsulates all Fitch-rated U.S. residential mortgage transactions issued since the start of 2012. A link to the tool will be included in Fitch's presale reports and will be available at 'www.fitchratings.com'.

The deal compare tool is provided in Excel format and is intended to allow for an easy comparison of key credit attributes across transactions and issuers. The report covers U.S. RMBS, GSE Credit Risk-Sharing transactions, and Re-Performing Loan transactions.

The deal comparison tool includes Fitch projected mortgage pool loss and deal credit enhancement at each rating category. Additionally, Fitch provides a summary of over 20 collateral attributes along with a distribution of due diligence grades provided at closing.

Fitch expects to update the information with each new RMBS transaction issued going forward. The first presale report with a link to the tool can be found under the title 'Agate Bay Mortgage Trust 2016-3'.
