Through its support of the Amputee Coalition, Phantom Neuro joins a national network of organizations helping the Coalition advance its mission to support, educate and advocate for people who have limb loss or limb difference. Despite the size and diversity of this community, people who have limb loss and limb difference can continue to encounter barriers involving access to care, insurance coverage, mobility solutions, education, and long-term support. Addressing those challenges requires sustained collaboration among community members, advocates, healthcare professionals, researchers, policymakers and organizations working across the field.
Phantom Neuro is developing Phantom X, a minimally invasive muscle-machine interface designed to interpret the electrical signals generated when a person intends to move. The technology is being studied as a way to provide more intuitive control of prosthetic limbs and other robotic systems.
