Banschbach will lead AI and platform strategy built on LogicSource's proprietary market intelligence

CHARLESTON, S.C., Nov. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- LogicSource, the leading provider of procurement services and technology, today announced the appointment of Chris Banschbach as Chief Technology Officer.

Banschbach joins as LogicSource continues to invest further in its AI strategy, data architecture and technology initiatives, building on the OneMarket® platform and AI-enabled category intelligence already running across more than 60 client procurement organizations. At the center of that work is OneMarket.AI, the company's always-on market intelligence engine, built on proprietary data the company has accumulated over 17 years of indirect procurement execution.

LogicSource draws on more than 40,000 market engagements a year and over $200 billion in benchmarked indirect spend across diverse industries including retail, consumer goods, healthcare and higher education. That work spans the complex categories that keep organizations running, including marketing, information technology, facilities, corporate services, distribution and logistics, packaging, and design and construction. Because LogicSource runs the day-to-day procurement process for its clients, this data is constantly updated to reflect current market conditions and expanded to new vendors and categories.

"Every time we go to market, we capture fresh category commercial dynamics. The pricing, the terms, what a supplier agreed to and why," said David Pennino, Founder and CEO of LogicSource. "We do that more than 40,000 times a year, so what our teams work from reflects the market as it is now, not as it was. Our clients walk into negotiations knowing more than the supplier across the table. Chris will widen that gap."

Banschbach brings more than 25 years of experience at the intersection of technology, data, product development, and managed services. Most recently, he served as Chief Technology & Innovation Officer at MediaSense, where he led the expansion of the company's data capabilities, AI-enabled assets, and technology-driven offerings. Prior to MediaSense, he was Marketing Services Global Offering Lead at Accenture Song, helping organizations leverage technology and data to improve business performance. He also served as Chief Technology Officer, Head of Operations, and founding member of Procurian, where he architected the company's technology-enabled delivery model, developed proprietary platforms, and helped transform the business into a global managed services leader.

"What slows AI projects down is rarely the technology," said Banschbach. "It's not having the data or not having people with real category expertise. LogicSource has both, and because the sourcing work never stops, the data stays current. That advantage is already deployed across the client portfolio. My mandate is to extend it into more categories and more decisions, and to shorten the time between market insight and realized savings." LogicSource's existing Technology leadership, product and development teams will continue to support the business and will report to Banschbach in his new role.

"There's no shortage of companies talking about the potential of AI, but the real opportunity lies with businesses that have the proprietary data and domain expertise to turn that potential into measurable value," said Brad Bernstein, Managing Partner at FTV Capital. "LogicSource has built those assets through years of direct procurement execution, creating a differentiated foundation for AI innovation and sustainable growth. Chris brings additional leadership to help realize that opportunity."
