Jeptha Creed Distillery Celebrates 10th Anniversary with New Video Series

Three-part series traces the Kentucky distillery's story through family, farming and a decade of distilling with heirloom corn

Featuring Owner and Master Distiller Joyce Nethery, the series traces Jeptha Creed's story through its roots in Shelby County, the "Our Farm to Your Glass" commitment, and a decade of distilling.

Unveiling throughout the anniversary year on Jeptha Creed's YouTube channel and website, the series began on July 4th with the initial chapter commemorating America's 250th anniversary, spotlighting the Nethery family's connection to Shelby County. Having farmed in the region for generations, the family continues its agricultural legacy today through Jeptha Creed's commitment to farming and distilling.

Debuting on September 18, the second chapter Decade of Dedication: Jeptha Creed Solera, turns to the heirloom corn at the heart of Jeptha Creed's whiskey. Over the past decade, the distillery has worked with a range of heirloom corn varietals grown on the family farm, exploring the distinctive character and flavor each brings to the final whiskey. The film also highlights the anniversary release, Jeptha Creed Solera Aged Bourbon, which brings together whiskeys distilled from every heirloom corn varietal the distillery has produced, representing ten years of experimentation and dedication.

The series concludes on November 11, Veterans Day and the 10th anniversary of Jeptha Creed's opening, with Ne Oublie. Meaning "Never Forget," the phrase has been passed down through generations of the Nethery family and inspired the distillery's guiding motto, "Don't Forget Where You Came From." The final chapter reflects on the family heritage and values behind Jeptha Creed and their continued influence on its future.
