Intersignal Demonstrates Cross-Network Context Continuity Between Local AI Models
Braid 1.6 test shows a remote model correcting its decision after receiving signed situational context; founding membership opens at
In the controlled "Kestrel" test, a local language model running on a remote Linux node was asked about an invented operating protocol it had never seen. It confidently reached the wrong decision. A Mac then transmitted the missing facts and rules through Braid's authenticated public relay. The receiving node independently verified, accepted, committed and stored the state. When the same local model was asked newly phrased questions in fresh inference sessions, it reached the correct decision and explained why.
Intersignal describes the result as controlled AI osmosis: selected meaning can move between machines while trust, acceptance and final authority remain local to the receiver.
Braid does not transfer model weights, hidden activations, native internal model state or KV cache. Instead, it packages selected facts, rules, observations, constraints or project state into a signed Semantic Capsule with provenance. After receiver-controlled commitment, the second node can reconstruct that context for later local reasoning.
"After months of development and testing, we're excited to roll out Braid capability to hobbyists and businesses ready to join the frontier of LLM productivity," said
The current Braid 1.6 release candidate supports user-supplied text and text files for technical users. Potential applications include transferring project state between a laptop and workstation, coordinating specialized local models, and preserving useful context across offices, laboratories or field locations.

"Founding members are not buying a frozen download," Seaman added. "They are gaining access to an improving capability and helping shape the path from a proven technical engine to a turnkey multi-device product."
