Huntington Bank Opens First Branch in Mount Pleasant

Opening expands Huntington's South Carolina branch network to five full-service locations

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C., Aug. 31, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The Huntington National Bank (Huntington) today announced the opening of its first branch in Mount Pleasant, continuing the expansion of its branch network across South Carolina.

The newly built, freestanding branch at 3149 N. Highway 17 brings Huntington to five full-service branches in South Carolina and builds on its presence in the state's Lowcountry. The Mount Pleasant location is part of Huntington's previously announced plans to open approximately 55 branches across North Carolina and South Carolina.

The opening of the Mount Pleasant branch deepens Huntington's presence in the South Carolina Lowcountry. Last month, Huntington opened its first branch in Summerville at 103 Station St., following last year's opening of its Charleston branch at 677 King St. The bank's South Carolina presence also includes full-service branches in Greenville and Spartanburg.
