Homesite Group Inc. Finds Success With 1insurer Claims

FARMINGTON, CT -- (Marketwired) -- 06/01/16 -- 1insurer is pleased to announce Homesite Group Inc. (Homesite), a fully-owned subsidiary of American Family Mutual Insurance Company (American Family), has achieved increased scalability and greater operational efficiencies through an implementation of 1insurer Claims, a component of the 1insurer suite.

Homesite, a national, full-service property insurer focused on term life, small business, flood, homeowners', condominium and renters' lines of business, worked collaboratively with 1insurer to implement and deploy 1insurer Claims as the foundation for the internally-labelled Homesite Claims Management System (CMS). The main business driver was to be able to leverage business partners and customers more effectively to positively affect cycle times and achieve better scalability during catastrophic events. Homesite continuously and proactively prepares for catastrophic events to ensure maximum responsiveness to customer needs in even the most challenging of circumstances.

• Allow customers and business partners to report claims directly and seamlessly eliminating manual-re-keying and expediting the claims handling process; and
• Institute automatic routing of claims to specialized adjusters based on predetermined criteria.
