HCC Medical Insurance Services Releases New Interactive Golf Tool

HCC Medical Insurance Services, LLC (HCCMIS), a provider of global travel medical insurance, today announces the addition of a new interactive planning tool called Atlas Travelcast™, which will help travelers determine the optimal date for their international and domestic golf trips.

Atlas Travelcast allows the user to enter the course and dates they want to play. Atlas Travelcast will then present a "Misery Index" score based on predicted weather conditions for that day. The scores range between "miserable" and "optimal," and include typical temperatures, wind gusts, and precipitation amounts. If the selected date is closer to miserable, Atlas Travelcast provides alternative dates and courses. Atlas Travelcast also shows the best months of the year for that particular course.

Through expert data collection, standardization, and integration, Weather Analytics has compiled 36+ years of historical data spanning all continents and ocean basins to create the world's first gap-free, global weather database. This data, in conjunction with complex weather modeling, allows Weather Analytics to provide historical weather insights and weather verification designed for travel decision-support.
