Demandware Helps Tourneau Digitize its Century-old Brand
The Demandware Commerce Cloud gives Tourneau the digital presence its high-end buyers expect from a global luxury brand

Tourneau will be demonstrating some of the new omnichannel capabilities enabled by Demandware, along with implementation partner LyonsCG, in the Demandware booth (Booth #4103) at the NRF Big Show, January 17-19, 2016.
Tourneau, which since 1997 has held the distinction of operating the world’s largest watch store, is a global luxury retailer of new and pre-owned timepieces spanning 100 brands and 33 locations serving more than four million visitors annually. The company has notably remained dedicated to its brick and mortar locations and is known for having long-tenured associates who possess deep connections with affluent horology enthusiasts. This emphasis on the in-store experience often left digital commerce overlooked among the company’s strategic priorities.
Digital commerce emerged as a top priority for Tourneau, however, with the 2013 arrival of new CEO Ira Melnitsky, whose background combined high-end retail with online pure-play and other progressive technology platforms. Under Melnitsky’s leadership, Tourneau re-launched its website on the Demandware Commerce Cloud.
