Coalesce Capital Appoints John Mulflur as Managing Director

NEW YORK, May 8, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Coalesce Capital ("Coalesce"), a private equity firm investing in human capital-driven and technology-enabled services companies, today announced the appointment of John Mulflur as a Managing Director. This strategic addition further strengthens Coalesce's senior investment leadership as the firm continues its rapid growth and execution of its investment strategy.

Mr. Mulflur's appointment follows the closing of the firm's debut fund in 2024 and a period of significant momentum for the firm, including the completion of three platform investments – Examinetics, Miller Environmental Group, Pearl Meyer – as well as a fourth investment that is slated to close later this month.  With these milestones, Coalesce manages $1.4 billion in regulatory assets under management as of March 2025.

Mr. Mulflur brings 19 years of experience investing in and working with business services companies. Prior to joining Coalesce, he was a Managing Director in the Services sector at Permira, where he spent the past decade working closely with leadership teams to drive growth and execute value creation initiatives. His previous experience also includes investment roles at Irving Place Capital, Thoma Cressey Bravo, and GSO Capital Partners.
