CTA Hosts Startup Fast Pitch Contest at 20th Annual CEO Summit

Israeli startups compete for booth within Eureka Park Marketplace at CES 2017

WHAT:			The Consumer Technology Association (CTA)™ today announced that nine Israel-based startup companies will compete for a booth in the coveted Eureka Park Marketplace, the center stage for innovative startups at CES® 2017. The Startup Fast Pitch Contest will take place at CTA’s 20th annual CEO Summit in Tel Aviv, Israel. CEO Summit is an invitation-only event for C-level executives in the consumer technology industry. In addition to the CEO Summit delegation, the Startup Fast Pitch Contest also will be open to select Israeli media. Participating startups include:

DETAILS:			The Startup Fast Pitch Contest winner will be determined by an audience vote based on the following criteria: business model, likelihood to succeed, product’s ability to meet a need in the market, aesthetic design and engineering qualities.
			The winner will receive booth space in the Eureka Park Marketplace at CES 2017. Results will be announced during a CES 2017 media briefing following the Startup Pitch Contest, and in a CTA-issued press release on Thursday, June 23.
			Returning to CES for its sixth year, Eureka Park is the flagship startup destination at CES, providing a unique opportunity to launch a new product, service or idea. Israel is an important market to both the success of CES and the tech industry as a whole. Israeli startups had a strong presence at CES 2016 with 18 exhibiting companies in Eureka Park.
