TUPELO, Miss., Oct. 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- At its regular quarterly meeting today, the Board of Directors of BancorpSouth, Inc. (NYSE: BXS) declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.125 per common share. The dividend is payable January 3, 2017 to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 15, 2016.
BancorpSouth earlier reported financial results for the third quarter of 2016. Net income was $37.8 million, or $0.40 per diluted share, and net operating income – excluding MSR – was $36.7 million, or $0.39 per diluted share.
