Bala Janakiraman Appointed to lead First Data Partner Solutions

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- First Data Corporation (NYSE: FDC), a global leader in commerce-enabling technology, today announced that it has appointed Bala Janakiraman as head of the Company’s Partner Solutions business, effective immediately. The role reports to Frank Bisignano, Chairman and CEO.

Janakiraman has more than 20 years of operational experience, including significant depth in integrated payments and ecommerce, most recently as CEO of BluePay. In his time at BluePay, Janakiraman drove growth by implementing a software driven payments strategy across a variety of fast growing distribution channels. Prior to BluePay, Janakiraman held senior roles at Vantiv and Litle & Co., where he launched innovative ecommerce solutions for enterprise clients.
