B. Riley Securities Names Frank Pigott as General Counsel

Mr. Pigott brings extensive expertise in securities law, financial regulation and corporate governance to B. Riley Securities. With his background at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), where he shaped policies on market regulation and financial disclosure, Mr. Pigott will offer invaluable insights to BRS. Mr. Pigott most recently served as Senior Special Counsel in the Division of Trading and Markets at the SEC, where he dedicated over a decade of service, assuming various key roles, including Senior Advisor in the Division of Corporation Finance and Attorney-Advisor in both the Office of Risk and Strategy and Disclosure Operations. Prior to his tenure at the SEC, Mr. Pigott was an Associate in the Corporate Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Hunton & Williams LLP.

He holds a J.D. from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College.
