Allied Electronics Names Two New Directors

FORT WORTH, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Allied Electronics, a trading brand of Electrocomponents plc (LSE: ECM), has announced the addition of one director and the promotion of another, Rebecca Weiser and Mary Edmonds, respectively.

Weiser joins Allied as Product Director in Product Management for the Interconnect, Passives and Electromechanical category of industrial automation products. Prior to joining Allied, Weiser was Global Sales Manager for Future Electronics after serving on the Future DFW (Dallas/Fort Worth) sales team. She is a business graduate of Texas A&M in College Station, Texas.

Edmonds was promoted to Director of Web Development in Marketing for eCommerce, after serving as Software Development Manager for the past two years. Previous to Allied, Edmonds served in IT functions in a variety of high-tech industries, including banking, aerospace, healthcare and retail. Edmonds is a graduate of Northwood University in West Palm Beach, Florida, and holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science for Information Assurance from the University of Dallas in Dallas, Texas.
