A.M. Best to Co-Organize Seminar with Thailand General Insurance Association
HONG KONG--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- A.M. Best will co-organize a complimentary seminar with the Thailand General Insurance Association (TGIA), to take place Thursday, August 4, at the TGIA offices in Bangkok, Thailand. The seminar is, titled, “Liberalization of the Thailand Market: What’s Next?,” and will feature a keynote address by the President of TGIA, Khun Anon Vangvasu, as well as a panel discussion of the impact of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations’ (ASEAN) market liberalization on Thailand’s insurance industry.
A.M. Best senior management, representatives from the Office of Insurance Commission and the TGIA, as well as local and regional market practitioners, will participate in the panel. The seminar will provide insight into how credit ratings play a key role in informing the market of the financial strength and stability of risk carriers.
