Amazon (AMZN) Lower Again as Trump Escalates Attacks

Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) is adding to recent weakness in pre-open trade following more attacks from President Trump. After hitting the company last week on taxes and its abuse of the U.S. Postal Service, Trump detailed his Post Office compliant. Shares of Amazon are down 1.8% in pre-open trading.
In a tweet, Trump cited reports that the U.S. Post Office will lose $1.50 on average for each package it delivers for Amazon. He notes if the Post Office increased its parcel rates, Amazon’s shipping costs would rise by $2.6 Billion.
"This Post Office scam must stop," he commented. "Amazon must pay real costs (and taxes) now!"
