Virginia Housing Board of Commissioners Name Leadership Positions

RICHMOND, Va., Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Virginia Housing's Board of Commissioners recently elected officers at its September meeting. Davon Gray of King George County, VA has been elected to serve as chair, and Michael Olivieri of Virginia Beach has been selected as vice chair.

Davon Gray is the Vice President of Policy for Purpose Built Communities®. Gray has more than 25 years of experience in advocacy, political affairs and policy strategy. He previously worked for the American Institute of Architects in various capacities, including Managing Director of Advocacy and Engagement programs. Gray is a 12-year veteran of the United States Army National Guard and Reserves. He graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a bachelor's degree in political science, and he received his master's degree in public administration from DeVry University.

Michael Olivieri serves as the Senior Vice President at Associated Development Management Corp. His entrepreneurial career spans nearly 30 years, where he has remained active in real estate development and civic endeavors, including mentoring young people. Michael holds a bachelor's degree in finance from George Mason University.

The Virginia Housing Board of Commissioners is responsible for guiding Virginia Housing by adopting policies, approving budgets and overseeing organizational operations. Board members are appointed by the governor and include the state treasurer and the director of the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development.
