Dr. Sam Rizk Introduces a New Approach to Tissue Entry and Fixation—Without Traditional "Cabling" Sutures

Dr. Rizk's surgical technique was first demonstrated live at the prestigious 2025 Baker Gordon Symposium, one of the field's leading forums for live surgical education. Rather than relying on traditional cable-like suture configurations, Dr. Rizk's technique modifies the entry point into the deep plane and uses non-cable suturing to secure repositioned tissues. According to Dr. Rizk, this may help address one of the challenges of maintaining a facelift over time: sutures that can stretch with facial movement and gradually release the tissues they are intended to hold.
